I use Vista and it works for me. :U

Make sure nothing is selected, though, that's what makes things pixelly.

yeah, that's the problem then ^^UU because I don't have Vista

I made that mistake the first time, but then when I tried again I deselected everything and it still looked pixelly. Specially what I had written, the letters come out awful and unreadable. Was your icon made using the same technique?
